Terms of service
Last updated 25 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Joblook.ai (unregistered) ("Joblook", "we", "us"), which runs joblook.ai. Joblook is operated from India and is not yet a registered company. When it is registered, the registered company will take over these terms and we will update this page. By using Joblook, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What Joblook does
Joblook lists jobs collected from company career sites, compares them with your resume and preferences to suggest matches, sends job alerts by email, and gives you a place to track your applications. You apply on the employer's own site. Joblook is not an employer, recruiter, or placement agency, and it does not apply to jobs for you.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law. You can browse jobs without an account. To get matches, save jobs, or track applications, you need to sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity on your account; tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else is using it.
Price
Joblook is free during the MVP launch. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you in advance, and you will only pay if you choose to.
Your content
You own the resumes, preferences, and notes you add. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Joblook for you, as described in the privacy policy. You confirm that what you upload is yours to share, is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and does not break any law or anyone else's rights.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, copy, or resell job listings or other content from Joblook in bulk, or use bots to access it;
- try to break, overload, or get around the security of the service;
- upload malware, or content that is unlawful, misleading, or infringes someone else's rights;
- impersonate someone else or use another person's account.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
Job listings and matches
Listings come from employers' public career sites. We check whether a role is still available before recommending it, but employers can change or close roles at any time, so always check the original posting before you apply. Match labels are automated comparisons between your resume and a role. They are guidance, not a promise of an interview, offer, or job. We are not responsible for employers' hiring decisions, their sites, or anything you agree with them.
Our service and brand
The Joblook name, logo, design, and software belong to us. You may use Joblook for your own job search, but you may not copy or reuse them without our written permission. Job listings remain the property of the employers who publish them.
Availability and changes
Joblook is an early product. We may change, pause, or stop features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. If we plan to shut down Joblook, we will try to give you notice so you can take a copy of your data. We may update these terms; we will post changes here and tell you about significant ones before they apply. Continuing to use Joblook after that means you accept the updated terms.
Ending your use
You can stop using Joblook at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as limits on liability and governing law, still apply after your account is closed.
Disclaimers and liability
Joblook is provided "as is" and "as available", to the extent the law allows. We don't guarantee that listings are complete or accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost opportunities, income, or data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem informally. If we can't, the courts of India will have exclusive jurisdiction.
Contact and grievances
For questions about these terms, or to raise a grievance about content or your account, contact our Grievance Officer at [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
