About the role

The Basics

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst proficient in Salesforce Sales Cloud. This role will specialize in gathering and maintaining requirements for a portfolio of projects, assist with functional and technical design, and test and evaluate new and existing technologies during concept validations. This person will also act as a liaison between stakeholders in Sales, Partner, Marketing, Commercial Ops, and Finance organizations and work as a member of the Business Systems team to ensure transparency and timely delivery of project deliverables. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing the use of Salesforce to enhance customer experience, streamline processes, and drive business growth. The role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce functionalities and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

This position follows the company’s hybrid schedule and requires employees to work in the office a minimum of three days per week in Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.

What you'll do

  • Work collaboratively with other members of the Sales Systems team to ensure requirements are understood and documented.
  • Partner with stakeholders to shape requirements and ensure alignment with business and technology strategy and planned initiatives.
  • Assist in the planning, prioritization, design, development, and deployment of new projects and system enhancements.
  • Understand business requirements, create and groom user stories, and partner with the delivery team to deliver solutions.
  • Leverage business knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met. Work closely with the project team during user acceptance testing (UAT), including tracking issues through resolution and securing end-user acceptance sign-off.
  • Partner with business operations team members to define, plan, and execute small and medium projects, in addition to ongoing delivery of business enhancements and fixes.

We’re looking for someone with

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.

Experience

  • Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant and Salesforce Administrator Certifications strongly preferred.
  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification or Business Analyst Certification is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, implementation consultant, or solutions architect supporting the Salesforce platform.
  • 3+ years of experience with declarative development on the Salesforce platform as an administrator.
  • Experience designing and supporting small- to medium-scale, complex solutions on Salesforce and associated ecosystems.
  • Good understanding of software testing, including building test plans and executing unit, functional, and user acceptance test cycles.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-growing, fast-paced environment while delivering accurate work.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of change management processes.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously across small, medium, and large projects and ongoing production support.

What you’ll get

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 to $155,000. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on factors including location, education, skills, training, and experience.
