Role Overview
As Office Manager, you will own the operational backbone of Serval’s headquarters. You’ll ensure our workplace runs seamlessly — from facilities and vendors to internal events and employee experience — enabling the team to do the best work of their careers.
You will directly shape how it feels to work at Serval. This role is hands-on. You will directly execute internal events, manage day-to-day logistics, and shape the physical environment in ways that make it energizing, organized, and high-performing.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on operational excellence, has true hospitality mindset, and understands how environment drives performance.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end office operations, including facilities, supplies, equipment, and vendor management.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring strong service standards and cost discipline.
- Ensure workplace health, safety, and security compliance.
- Help plan and execute internal events (all-hands, offsites, team gatherings).
- Maintain operational readiness of the office at all times.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for workplace-related needs.
- Be the first point of contact for all guests, ensuring a professional and welcoming office experience.
- Continuously improve systems and processes to reduce friction and elevate the employee.
What You’ll Need
- Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Clear, professional communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with leadership, finance, and HR stakeholders.
- A genuine hospitality mindset and creating thoughtful experiences — you anticipate needs, sweat the details, and take pride in seamless execution.
- Comfort owning logistics end-to-end in a highly accountable role.
- Finds satisfaction in making things run seamlessly behind the scenes.
Nice to Have
- 1+ years of experience in office management, workplace operations, or administrative leadership.
- Experience in a high-growth startup or scaling organization.
- Experience hosting and planning events from ideation to execution
- Track record of improving office efficiency, reducing costs, or enhancing employee experience.
- Interest in building a culture-forward, operationally disciplined workplace from the ground up.
