About the role

This role requires full-time presence at our Oxford, NC office.

Overview:

  • Responsible for directing and organizing various component materials into an end finished product and directs associates to achieve standard production rate as per the SPI.
  • Responsible for directing associates to produce quality products as per the RPPS.
  • Responsible for ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
  • Responsible for directing the associates to operate cost center at a minimum cost to meet or exceed budget goals.
  • Coaches and trains associates to meet or exceed Quality, GMP, Safety and good Housekeeping Standards.
  • Must have proficient computer skills.
  • Backup to the Director of the area (as needed)

Responsibilities:

  • Safety: Ensure that a safe workplace is maintained at all times. Provide resources necessary to be proactive towards addressing issues in the workplace. Comply with all OSHA & Revlon guidelines and procedures. Assist Safety Director as needed with task forces, projects and teams. Metrics: Safety incident rate; OSHA & Workmen’s comp cases; restricted duty.
  • Development of People: Strive to make the Oxford site a great place to work by proactively developing people, addressing issues and concerns promptly and effectively, contributing to site efforts, staffing lines effectively, maintaining good associate relations and morale, ensuring procedures and policies are followed, and providing challenges, changes, ideas and suggestions to drive the organization forward. Metrics: Technical training compliance; Safety training; GMP training; Personal Development Plans; Lean Manufacturing.
  • Quality: Ensure that all Revlon and governmental Good Manufacturing Practices are complied with. Provide resources to address issues before the operation is adversely affected. Maximize line uptime and throughput through efficient use of associates and equipment as specified in the SPI. Assure quality integrity is produced at the highest standards of the RPPS. Ensure that cleaning and sanitizing logs and other production paperwork are properly completed and maintained. Work with the site Quality Director to implement new requirements due to new products or regulations. Provide or facilitate training and ensure all appropriate records are accurate and maintained. Metrics: First pass yield accuracy on paperwork; Sigma; AOQ; rejection of lots; GMP through internal or corporate audits.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customer requirements are met per company objectives. Evaluate production needs to ensure equipment and people resources are available. Keep Senior Management informed orally and in writing of current production plan issues, changes or problems. Metrics: Schedule compliance; Service Levels; Promotional ship on time.
  • Financial: Responsible for operational financial aspects of assigned cost centers, including labor, materials, overhead, waste minimization, and support of site cost reduction objectives. Metrics: Direct labor efficiency; indirect labor as a percent of direct; material usage variance; scrap report; overhead performance to budget.

Responsible for these aspects of daily operations:

  • Ensure that all employees in the cost center have defined job duties and expectations and are managed according to those duties, with timely corrective action when needed.
  • Ensure that reasonable schedules are formulated, meeting customer needs and equipment capability. Interface with appropriate departments as needed to affect change.
  • Ensure that all equipment is operational and performs within expected tolerances.
  • Ensure that all Revlon and governmental policies, guidelines, rules and procedures are followed and adhered to.
  • Interface with all other sites’ functional areas as needed, including HR, Quality, Distribution, and Finance.

Measurement of Performance:

  • Maintain safety at an incidence rate that meets or exceeds the established target.
  • Maintain quality to improve and revamp the quality process, decrease rejects, and ensure defective material does not leave the site per established target.
  • Attain a GMP score that meets or exceeds the target.
  • Achieve Material Usage Variance through favorable variance to budget per the established target.
  • Achieve regular business customer service levels and promotional shipment targets.
  • Achieve direct labor efficiency and indirect labor efficiency targets per the established budget.

Minimum Education Required:

  • 4-year degree in an engineering discipline, but other areas of study will be considered with appropriate and relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience.

Shift hours:

11:00pm - 7:30am

Revlon is unable to sponsor or transfer employment visas for this role; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa support.

The base pay range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 / year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Certain positions may also be eligible for short-term incentives as part of total compensation.

Employees will also receive 3 weeks of vacation, prorated based on date of hire for the first year of employment, and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Vacation will depend on role.
