About the role

We're looking for a Financial Analyst to be a dedicated partner for our global teams. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for managing sales expenses, headcount, and helping us make smart, data-driven decisions that fuel company growth. You'll work closely with Sales leadership to provide the financial insights they need to enable Ping Identity’s maximum top-line impact.

The Right Fit

This role is for someone who loves the details but also sees the bigger picture. You're a proactive problem-solver who jumps in to help teams find solutions. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and genuinely enjoy collaborating with others. The role is based out of our downtown Denver headquarters with an expectation of being in the office one day per week.

On our team, you'll find a group of people who are curious, accountable, and always working to make things better. We're looking for someone who shares that positive, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. If you're looking for a place where you can make a real impact alongside a team of bright, motivated peers, this is it. Join us and help shape the future of Ping Identity!

What You'll Do

  • Manage expenses: Being integral part of the sales expense accrual process, collaborating directly with the team to ensure costs are captured accurately.
  • Own the sales budget: Lead the forecasting and budgeting processes for all global sales teams and initiatives.
  • Reconcile with precision: Dive into the details, meticulously reconciling budget vs. actuals and providing clear insights into spending trends.
  • Process Improvement: Drive reporting consistency and simplification, streamlining how we track sales performance metrics and operational spend.
  • Leverage Anaplan: Use Anaplan for all reporting, tracking, and analysis, helping to build a single source of truth for sales headcount and financials.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on expenses and headcount.
  • A strong accounting foundation, with hands-on experience in managing accruals and expense recognition.
  • Strong experience with budget vs. actual reconciliation, financial reporting, and forecasting.
  • Direct experience with Anaplan for financial reporting and planning.
  • You are an expert with Excel and comfortable building robust financial models.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field, or equivalent experience.
