Field Service Engineer II (Freeport, IL)

Position Overview:

Responsible for installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Tablo Dialysis Systems. Works with clinical staff and patients, diagnoses issues, identifies root causes, implements solutions, collaborates with cross-functional teams, contributes to training materials and SOPs, documents service activities, and manages company assets. Extensive travel within the United States, including overnight stays, may be required.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair Tablo Dialysis Systems at customer facilities or patients' homes.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, calibrations, hardware and software upgrades, and system verification.
• Provide technical support, document service activities, maintain spares inventory, complete reports, support Marketing and Sales events, and provide feedback to R&D.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Fluidics engineering recommended, or military equivalent.
• 5+ years of Field Service or industry experience required.
• Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and fluid components.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and transportation until a company fleet car is provided.

Other Skills / Abilities:

• Ability to travel extensively, read schematics and flowcharts, communicate effectively, multitask, use Microsoft Office and ERP databases, and perform physical activities including lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials.
