Employment Law Attorney

Morgan & Morgan is seeking employment attorneys to advocate for employees. Employment attorneys with experience representing employers or employees, broader litigation experience, or an interest in plaintiff-side employment law are encouraged to apply. The department is growing across multiple states, including Massachusetts, California, Washington, DC, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Michigan, and encourages applicants based in Boston, LA/Orange County/San Francisco, NYC, Chicago, and Detroit.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of cases from pre-litigation to litigation
• Depending on experience, ranges from handling pre-suit responsibilities to performing senior attorney duties once the claim files suit
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum
• Guide clients through the case process
• Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
• Attendance and preparation at depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances

Qualifications

• Law degree (J.D. / Juris Doctor) from a fully ABA accredited law school
• An active member in good standing of the bar of the state in which based/to which applying
• Experience with wage and hour claims is a plus
• Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit and litigation cases
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals

Salary Range

$85,000 - $500,000 USD
