About the role
Summary
Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations to lead high-priority growth and operational initiatives across the firm. This role offers significant ownership, exposure to senior leadership, and the ability to impact the growth of personal injury law firms. The initial focus is scaling high-growth practice areas and supporting strategic initiatives in Complex Litigation. This cross-functional role combines strategy and execution, operational problem-solving, and technology-enabled scaling.
Responsibilities:
- Drive growth of key practice areas by developing growth strategies, identifying opportunities, evaluating markets, and building operational capabilities.
- Build scalable operating models, including processes, organizational structures, technology, reporting, and performance management systems.
- Manage organizational performance and accountability through expectations, metrics, and execution monitoring.
- Lead strategic initiatives, solve operational bottlenecks, and implement solutions that improve business performance.
- Develop go-to-market and marketing strategies by evaluating markets, target clients, acquisition strategies, channel economics, and marketing resource allocation.
- Drive execution and accountability through workplans, owners, milestones, measurable outcomes, risk management, and roadblock resolution.
Qualifications:
- 5–8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, management consulting, business operations, growth strategy, private equity portfolio operations, or a similar environment.
- Ability to structure and solve ambiguous business problems and translate recommendations into action.
- Experience developing growth strategies, evaluating markets, launching initiatives, or scaling businesses or operating functions.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Exceptional project management and executive communication skills.
- Ability to influence teams and drive accountability without formal authority.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
- Intellectual curiosity, judgment, and bias toward action.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
