About the role
Role Overview:
As a Senior SAP PP/QM Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates solution options, and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture, and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
- This position may require travel to project or client locations.
- This role may involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by the US Department of Defense (DoD). Eligible candidates must be US citizens or Permanent Residents only.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in SAP PP/QM.
- Experience with at least 3 end-to-end S/4HANA implementations in the PPQM track.
- Experience with end-to-end SAP PP implementation and in-depth understanding of SAP S/4HANA modules, including:
- Master data: materials, BOM, routing, work centers, production tools, and variant configuration.
- Planning and forecasting, including MRP.
- Production processes and SAP solutions, including standard, remanufacturing, rebuild, foundry, repetitive, and Kanban.
- Capacity planning.
- MES integration.
- Production order management and execution, including availability checks, batch determination, confirmation, WIP processing and reporting, and settlement.
- Integration with other SAP modules such as SAP SD, SAP PP, and SAP FICO for product costing.
- Experience with SAP QM is an added advantage, including:
- Quality info records.
- Quality inspection plans.
- Usage decisions.
- Recording inspection results.
- Inventory movement for items under inspection.
- Disposal and scrap management.
- Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment requiring regular travel.
- Ability to work in a team in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required according to job requirements.
Estimated annual compensation ranges are $73,000-$102,200 in CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, and MN, and $66,500-$100,300 in Washington, DC.
