About the role

Overview:

The Infosys Enterprise Application Integration Services (EAIS) unit provides consulting services for enterprise application integration, including faster implementations, smoother rollouts, production support, and product development. The team integrates business applications using technologies such as TIBCO, Vitria, webMethods, IBM WBI, and SAP NetWeaver.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and assist in validating specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives and ERP capabilities.
  • Contribute to solution architecture design by assisting in customizing ERP package modules and features based on detailed business requirements.
  • Develop and integrate new features into existing applications, conduct code reviews, and maintain the codebase for stability and compliance.
  • Participate in system integration efforts by configuring interfaces, executing ETL processes, and ensuring consistent data flow between ERP and other applications.
  • Assess ERP system performance to identify enhancement opportunities and ensure ERP customizations comply with security measures and regulatory standards.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training to facilitate knowledge transfer.

Your Contribution to the Team:

  • Knowledge of ERP systems and integration techniques, along with sector focus.
  • Ability to handle end-to-end ERP package customization and implementation.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
  • Passion for design and hands-on coding experience.
  • Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.

Required Skill and Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized application delivery.
  • Experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting workloads on Kubernetes platforms.
  • Experience working in Agile development and DevOps environments.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes architecture, pods, deployments, services, ingress, namespaces, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and workload management.
  • Experience with Docker, container image creation, image optimization, container registries, and secure image management.
  • Working knowledge of Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, YAML configuration, and deployment automation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar automation platforms.
  • Familiarity with Git or other source control systems.
  • Knowledge of Linux, networking, DNS, load balancing, REST APIs, relational databases, and SQL concepts.
  • Exposure to performance tuning, observability, monitoring, logging, and production support for Kubernetes-based applications.
  • Experience using JIRA and Application Lifecycle Management tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS EKS, Azure AKS, Google GKE, or equivalent Kubernetes services is preferred.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skill and Experience:

  • Ability to work in a global work model.

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
