Java Full Stack Developer

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided.
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications.
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects.

Required Skill and Experience:

Strong development experience in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, MongoDB, and React JS.

• Strong hands-on development skills in Java/JEE technologies, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• AWS, Kubernetes, and REST APIs.

Preferred Skill and Experience:

• Perform gap analysis on requirements and functional specifications and review with the project management team.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies. Experience working with Scrum teams is an added advantage.
• Perform CI/CD tasks and mentor others. Ability to code is a value add.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to successfully multitask in a results-driven environment.
• Work closely with US and India teams on business requirements and initiatives.
• Play a technical developer role, including coding, code reviews, and internal testing sign-off, for deliverables. Serve as the technical point of contact for assigned modules and analyze, investigate, and resolve open issues, vulnerabilities, and secure coding concerns.
• Provide technical expertise to support teams during incident and problem resolution.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Primary skills: Java, Spring, microservices design/development, and APIs.
• Strong hands-on experience with distributed systems web development across Java/JEE and web services, including SOAP and REST.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud development, microservices, and CI/CD.
• Experience designing solutions for both functional and non-functional requirements.
• High level of competency in software design and software engineering implementation.
• Well versed in common design patterns.
• XML web services experience.
• Experience developing software that interacts with Oracle and other databases.
• Proven ability to effectively deliver results as required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate independently under strict timelines.
• High level of cultural awareness.
• Ability to train system users.

Additional Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of every year of education.
