About the role

Overview:

The Infosys Communications, Media, and Technology (CMT) unit is a dynamic and innovative division dedicated to driving digital transformation and growth for clients in the telecommunications, media, and technology sectors. The team enables digital, cloud, and AI-first solutions, builds strategic client relationships, and delivers innovation-led transformation.

Area of Responsibility:

  • Define project objectives and scope in alignment with business goals, ensuring efficient delivery in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Drive process improvement by reviewing project deliverables and incorporating innovative methodologies and tools related to IT infrastructure.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and manage project estimates, monitor budget performance, and optimize resource allocation for efficiency.
  • Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, aligning them with client needs and organizational capabilities.
  • Engage in planning resource allocation, conduct performance appraisals, and facilitate professional development to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Lead scope changes and manage client requirements, ensuring proper estimation, approval, and contractual updates.

Required Skill and Experience:

  • Excellent understanding of service components such as Cisco routers and switches.
  • Proficiency in LAN/WAN topologies using routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
  • Proficiency in HSRP, GLBP, and VRRP configuration.
  • Proficiency in traffic manipulation with OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
  • Proficiency in configuring VLANs, Layer 3 switches, STP, PVST, and RPVST+.
  • Knowledge of data center networking, including VPC, VDC, VXLAN, and FabricPath.
  • Knowledge of SDN products such as Cisco ACI, SDA, and DNAC.
  • Working knowledge of F5 load balancers and Blue Coat proxy.
  • Understanding and hands-on experience with wireless site surveys, reporting, heatmap creation, access point placement, and troubleshooting and maintaining traditional and modern WLAN products and solutions.

Preferred Skill and Experience:

  • Configure QoS.
  • Work with cross-functional server, application, and security teams.
  • Exposure to ITIL processes.
  • Document configurations, SOPs, and change records.

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.

Additional Details:

Estimated annual compensation ranges are $109,566 to $142,436 for Burlington, Vermont, and $105,966 to $137,756 for Malta, New York.
