About the role

Overview:

The Infosys Digital Experience (DX) unit powers businesses across the entire customer experience journey by re-imagining, creating, and delivering integrated and personalized experiences. The unit specializes in creating human-centered digital platforms that help enterprises stay relevant by transforming business models, future-proofing operations, and bringing agility and responsiveness.

Area of Responsibility:

  • Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned parts of business requirements.
  • Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions.
  • Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications.
  • Conduct code reviews, make codebase changes, and maintain code repositories.
  • Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
  • Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks.
  • Resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve system reliability.
  • Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.

Contribution to the Team:

  • Demonstrate a collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.
  • Handle end-to-end SDLC phases from requirements gathering through implementation.
  • Translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
  • Apply software design and hands-on coding experience.
  • Take a proactive approach to testing, troubleshooting, and application refinement.
  • Work with cross-functional teams on software integration.

Required Skill and Experience:

  • Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
  • Deep understanding of the Scrum framework, Agile principles, and Lean methodologies.
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing distributed or cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skill and Experience:

  • Organize and lead daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Guide teams on Scrum principles, Agile methodologies, and best practices.
  • Identify and resolve obstacles that hinder team progress.
  • Assist with backlog refinement and prioritization.
  • Track sprint progress, manage timelines, and report to stakeholders.
  • Maintain adherence to Scrum theory, rules, and values.
  • Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile practices.
  • Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile adoption and transformation.
  • Apply change management, release planning, release governance, and deployment coordination.
  • Demonstrate stakeholder management, communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks and drive timely resolution.
  • Track Agile metrics, sprint performance, team velocity, and release readiness.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote Agile best practices across teams and programs.

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
  • This position may require relocation and/or travel to the work or project location.

Additional Details:

Estimated annual compensation range for candidates in Jersey City, NJ: $82,419 to $126,600.
