About the role

Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP PP/QM Consultant.

As a Principal Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team and subject matter expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • This position may require travel to project/client locations.
  • This role may involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by the US Department of Defense (DoD). Eligible candidates must be US citizens or permanent residents only.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 9 years of experience in SAP PP/QM skills.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the SAP S/4HANA PP/QM module.
  • Experience with at least 3 end-to-end S/4HANA implementations in the PP/QM track.
  • Experience with end-to-end implementation in SAP PP with in-depth understanding of master data, including materials, BOM, routing, work centers, production tools, and variant configuration.
  • Experience with planning and forecasting, including MRP.
  • Experience with production processes and SAP solutions, including standard, remanufacturing, rebuild, foundry, repetitive, and Kanban.
  • Experience with capacity planning.
  • Experience with MES integration.
  • Experience with production order management and execution, including availability checks, batch determination, confirmation, WIP processing and reporting, and settlement.
  • Experience integrating SAP modules such as SAP SD, SAP PP, and SAP FICO for product costing.
  • Experience in SAP QM is an added advantage.
  • Quality information records.
  • Quality inspection plans.
  • Usage decisions.
  • Recording inspection results.
  • Inventory movement for items under inspection.
  • Disposal and scrap management.
  • Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.
  • Ability to work in a team in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.

The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.

Estimated annual compensation range:

  • In CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, MN, NJ, VT, and MA: $114,000 to $167,000.
  • In Washington, DC: $106,000 to $147,500.
