Roles and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided.
- Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions.
- Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability.
- Conduct code reviews, make changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
- Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality standards.
- Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications.
- Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability.
- Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects.

Required Skill and Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Core, Microservices, and streams for data pipelines.
- Strong coding skills with the ability to review, rework, and deliver high-quality code to customers.
- Experience architecting and implementing fault-tolerant, highly available microservices.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit.
- SQL knowledge and experience writing database scripts using DDL or queries using DML.
- CI/CD skills to build automated pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Good understanding of SRE skillsets and the ability to design services considering observability, traceability, and monitoring aspects.
- Experience in Agile Scrum software development processes.
Preferred Skill and Experience:
- Ability to work in a team in diverse, multiple-stakeholder environments.
- Understanding of the Azure technology stack with AKS for Microservices.
- Understanding of caching layers such as endpoint reverse proxy, cache-aside, and read/write-through.
- Knowledge of caching libraries such as Ehcache and Redis.
- Ability to drive technical and functional solution discussions with customers and provide thought leadership.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
Additional Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of every year of education.
