In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 3, your areas of responsibility include:

  • Analyze complex business processes to identify optimization opportunities and draft detailed requirement specifications that align with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Define and develop solution architecture, steering customization and integration efforts based on thorough business analysis.
  • Design and implement advanced customizations based on ERP platform capabilities and limitations, and develop critical software applications in collaboration with the development team.
  • Develop and implement complex integration workflows to connect the ERP system with external applications, while leading large-scale data migration strategies to ensure data integrity.
  • Implement advanced performance optimization strategies focused on scalability, reliability, and user experience, while leading compliance initiatives through audits to uphold security protocols and industry standards.
  • Develop detailed documentation for complex ERP customizations and lead training workshops tailored to various user groups to ensure effective knowledge transfer.

Your contribution to the team:

  • Expertise in ERP systems, architecture, and advanced customization techniques.
  • Ability to design complex integration solutions and guide large-scale data migrations.
  • Proactive problem-solving to streamline complex requirements.
  • Strategic mindset to align technical solutions with business goals and market trends.
  • Deep understanding of compliance requirements, security protocols, and performance optimization methodologies.
  • Sector-specific expertise for high-quality project delivery.

Required Skill and Experience:

  • Experience in configuration, solutions evaluation, validation, development, and deployment.
  • Experience in SAP project implementation, SAP FICO, and integration with other process areas.
  • At least two to three end-to-end implementation projects, with at least one performed as a Solution Architect, preferably at a client location.
  • Experience in business process consulting, problem definition, and architecture, design, and detailing of processes.
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of design, configuration, and testing of core Financial Accounting (FI) and Managerial Accounting (CO).
  • Experience and knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Product Costing, Actual Costing, Material Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Profit Center Accounting.
  • Experience and knowledge of key integration points between SAP FICO and other SAP modules, including COPA, New GL, SD, MM, and EWM.

Preferred Skill and Experience:

  • SAP FICO, reporting, and allocations experience is a plus.
  • Ability to combine strong functional experience with ABAP and technical skills to debug and implement solutions for customized SAP solutions.
  • Understanding of business processes in the life sciences and pharmaceutical domain.
  • Understanding of GXP and SOX requirements, with experience working in a highly regulated environment.
  • Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Client-facing experience and strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in multiple full-lifecycle SAP S/4 FICO project implementations.
  • Ability to work with offshore teams and coordinate work delivery between onsite and offshore teams.

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
