QA Consultant

Overview:

The Infosys Manufacturing unit provides digital solutions for the Automotive, Aerospace, Defense, and Industrial Manufacturing sectors.

Area Of Responsibility:

• Assist with interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions, capture software specifications, and create process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for software applications.
• Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects.
• Support integration of software features.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications.
• Document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions.

Required Skill and Experience:

• Playwright, Selenium, and end-to-end automation testing.
• Java and JavaScript automation framework development and maintenance.
• SQL query writing, data analysis, and data validation.
• API testing using REST and SOAP services.
• CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Performance, stress, and endurance testing and bottleneck analysis.
• Agile project delivery methodology.
• Test strategy, design, execution, analysis, and reporting.
• Functional and non-functional test case design and execution.
• Defect prevention, analysis, and reporting.
• Stakeholder coordination, communication, collaboration, and reporting.

Preferred Skill and Experience:

• Playwright automation framework implementation.
• API automation and performance testing.
• SQL-based transformation validation and data verification.
• DevOps methodology and continuous testing practices.
• Automation scripting using testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience in multi-stakeholder project environments.

Additional Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
• May require relocation and/or travel to the work or project location.
