Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements.
  • Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications, and aid in creation of process documentation.
  • Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements.
  • Execute test plans, analyse outcomes, and report defects to the development team, to facilitate enhancement of software performance.
  • Support the integration of new software features, facilitating smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance.
  • Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions, thereby enriching the team's knowledge repository.

Required Skill and Experience:

  • Hands-on expertise in .NET Core / .NET Framework, including API development, microservices, and backend architecture.
  • Experience with AWS cloud environments, AWS Cloud Migration, and services with exposure to EKS, CloudFront, SQS, Glue, and DocumentDB.
  • Microsoft SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).

Preferred Skill and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, including best practices for logging, exception handling, and scalability.
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server and/or AWS Aurora (PostgreSQL).
  • Experience collaborating with DevOps and Cloud Architects in CI/CD environments using Jenkins, TeamCity, and Octopus Deploy.
  • Build reusable frameworks and components as per the reference architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with EKS.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development and cross-functional team collaboration.

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of every year of education.

Additional Details:

Estimated annual compensation range:

  • Jersey City, NJ: $64,438 to $108,884.
  • New York, NY: $67,812 to $99,417.
