Area of Responsibility:

  • Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided.
  • Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions to guide the technical team toward building software solutions.
  • Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability.
  • Conduct code reviews, make changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
  • Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality standards.
  • Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications.
  • Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability.
  • Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist similar projects.

Your Contribution to the Team:

Required Skill and Experience:

  • Experience in full-stack software engineering with proficiency in Java and Angular or React.
  • Experience and good knowledge of technologies such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Angular or React.

Preferred Skill and Experience:

  • Experience in REST Web Services and UI.
  • Experience in Java 8, REST, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka or MQ, OpenShift deployments, JPA, XML, XSLT, JAXB, JAXP, MVC, JUnit, test frameworks, and various design patterns.
  • Experience in SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB is desired.

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
  • This position may require relocation and/or travel to the work or project location.

Additional Details:

Estimated annual compensation ranges are as follows:

  • Pennington, NJ: $76,071 to $119,836
  • Jersey City, NJ: $82,419 to $126,600
  • New York, NY: $82,419 to $107,145
  • Boston, MA: $78,903 to $120,000
