SAP FICO Consultant

As a Senior Consultant for SAP FICO, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates solution options, and makes recommendations. You will plan and execute configuration activities, conduct Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), and assist in resolving queries related to requirements and solution design. You will lead end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA Finance & Controlling implementations, conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops, and prepare effort estimates aligned with customer budgetary requirements and organizational financial guidelines. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Canada or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in Canada.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8 years of SAP FICO implementation and support experience, with a minimum of 3 full-cycle S/4 HANA implementations.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4 HANA Finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Treasury & Risk Management.
• Proficiency in SAP Controlling, including Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, and Material Ledger / Actual Costing.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA Central Finance and financial consolidation scenarios.
• Experience with Fiori Apps for Finance, embedded analytics, and real-time financial reporting.
• Knowledge of integration touchpoints with MM, SD, PP, and HCM payroll.
• Experience with IFRS/US GAAP accounting standards and their SAP configuration implications.
• Ability to perform Business Blueprint / Solution Design workshops and prepare Functional Specification documents.
• Exposure to SAP S/4 HANA migration tools, including SUM, SPDD, SPAU, and system conversion methodology.
• Experience with at least 3 end-to-end lifecycle implementation activities, including requirement gathering and business process design, SAP configuration and RICEFW functional design, System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing, cut-over planning, go-live support, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Strong client-facing experience with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to work with advanced Excel-based data analysis and financial modelling.
• Ability to manage and coordinate onsite-offshore delivery teams.
• Flexible work timings required due to remote working environment including offshore overlaps.
• The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.

Estimated Annual Compensation:

Ontario: $92,740 to $105,007
