About the role

SMX is seeking a JICO to plan, coordinate, and manage joint tactical data link operations and multi-TDL network integration. The role supports a reliable SOF - common tactical picture across joint and coalition command-and-control systems.

This is a full-time onsite position at MacDill AFB in SOCOM HQ.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage multi-TDL architecture, information exchange requirements, and interface control procedures.
  • Coordinate with joint, service, and coalition stakeholders to resolve interoperability and data-flow issues.
  • Monitor tactical data link performance, troubleshoot interfaces, and support exercises and operational missions.
  • Develop and maintain network plans, technical documentation, and operational briefings.

Required Skills, Experience & Education

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain ACCM and/or Special Access Program (SAP) read-ins as required by the mission.
  • Experience with JICO, interface control, or joint tactical data link operations.
  • Working knowledge of Link 16, JREAP, joint data networks, and command-and-control systems.
  • Ability to translate operational requirements into practical integration plans and work across technical and mission teams.
  • Experience integrating ATAK, TRAX, or Cursor-on-Target (CoT) data flows is a plus.

The proposed salary for this position is: $165,000 — $180,000 USD
