About the role
EliseAI is transforming housing and healthcare through conversational AI. The Instructional Designer will design high-impact learning experiences supporting functional onboarding, product education, and performance enablement. The role collaborates with subject matter experts across product, engineering, marketing, and client-facing teams to create guides, product walkthroughs, internal training modules, and scalable enablement assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Design instructional content for onboarding, internal enablement, and product education.
- Partner with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, validate accuracy, and create learning experiences.
- Write scripts for training videos, walkthroughs, demos, and educational content.
- Translate complex workflows and product features into clear learning experiences.
- Create interactive guides, video explainers, motion graphics, and live training materials.
- Use Figma for layouts, prototypes, and learning templates.
- Conduct needs assessments, learner research, and usability testing.
- Establish frameworks, templates, and systems to improve scalability.
- Audit and iterate content for accessibility, usability, and business alignment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or enablement in a SaaS or technology environment.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and performance-based learning.
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Experience with e-learning and motion design tools.
- Ability to translate technical and operational concepts into intuitive learning assets.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with WCAG, SCORM/xAPI, and learner feedback loops.
Bonus if you have
- A degree in instructional design, interaction design, HCI, or a related field.
- Experience designing education or onboarding experiences for B2B SaaS.
- A background in motion, interaction, or visual storytelling.
- Experience with LMS platforms and frameworks such as Kirkpatrick or Bloom’s Taxonomy.

Job Compensation Range
The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $145,000. EliseAI offers base salary, equity, benefits, and perks. Exact compensation depends on experience, skill level, location, and qualifications.
