We are looking for a seasoned Client Executive- Private Equity/ M&A Risk Management to join our team working out our NYC or Greenwich, CT office 2x a week.

SUMMARY:

This role will be working with clients directly and with EPIC Financial Services team members across new business strategies and portfolio management. Responsibilities will include supporting producers in new business endeavors, coordinating the various team members to deliver one seamless new business proposal. Success in this role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, ability to work well in a team, drive and an eagerness to learn. The candidate must be able to function well in a fast-paced, high standard environment, have intimate knowledge of Property & Casualty coverages, have familiarity with running a Property & Casualty book of business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain new business pipeline
  • Coordinate internal EPIC resources on a new deal, drive strategy sessions with internal teams, producers and the client, act as the main quarterback between all parties during the new business, quoting and onboarding process, and coordinate proposals and deliverables to the client
  • Assign the proper service team in a timely fashion and support the service team in getting up to speed on the account and transition
  • Manage portfolios by working with service teams during renewals, coordinating with placement resources, handling diligence-related matters, and providing guidance on service-related issues
  • Request required information to start the new business process from prospects and ensure overarching strategies are being driven
  • Prepare stewardship reporting for private equity firms by collecting necessary data from individual service teams and coordinating deliverables
  • Service select private equity firms where it makes sense to drive strategy
  • Maintain trackers and pipelines for clients and prospects
  • Work collaboratively with producers, placement teams and technical assistants to deliver best-in-class service to clients

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years of commercial Property & Casualty experience in a mid-size brokerage or carrier
  • Prior experience working with financial services, manufacturing or transportation industries preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance coverage forms, policy structure and terminology
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentation software
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • Self-starter who takes initiative
  • Demonstrated time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Current Property and Casualty Broker License

The national average salary for this role is $150,000 to $175,000 in base pay, exclusive of bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
