About the role

As an Account Executive, you will drive new business growth within the private sector by building pipeline, developing strategic relationships, and closing net-new opportunities. Using a consultative, data-driven approach, you will manage the full sales cycle for a defined portfolio of accounts, helping organizations understand how Lightcast's workforce analytics can address their challenges and deliver value.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed sales targets for revenue, market share, and other key performance objectives
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities by managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close
  • Engage prospects and customers to understand business challenges and demonstrate the value of Lightcast solutions through a consultative sales approach
  • Manage an assigned territory and pipeline, maintaining accurate forecasts and sales activity within CRM and sales tools
  • Build long-term customer relationships and identify renewal, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities
  • Collaborate with Legal, Product, Customer Success, and other internal teams to execute deals and deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Represent Lightcast as a trusted partner through effective presentations, calls, and customer meetings
  • Continuously develop sales skills, product knowledge, and market expertise to drive customer and business outcomes

Education & Experience:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in consultative or solution-based enterprise sales required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
  • Proven record of strong sales performance and consistently achieving results
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills, including proficiency with Salesforce
  • Proficiency with sales tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Gong, and Salesloft
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and achieve goals in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and curious about workforce analytics and labor market data
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Important information before applying:

This position is based on-site in Moscow, Idaho, and requires five days per week in the office. We will consider only candidates who currently live locally or are willing to relocate.
