Directive Consulting is a leading B2B marketing agency specializing in measurable results across Technology, Industrial, and Services markets. The Paid Strategist is a client-facing role responsible for client deliverables, custom strategies, and communication with clients and internal stakeholders on Paid Social deliverables.
(Internal Title: Account Strategist, Paid Social)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead a collection of social media accounts.
- Support client contacts directly.
- Communicate weekly with vendors and operational partners regarding assigned tasks, quality, and improvements.
- Build quarterly client strategies.
- Create, maintain, and optimize paid media campaign budgets.
- Understand client positioning and unique value propositions.
- Confirm accurate lead routing within a CRM.
- Manage personal productivity and utilization.
- Work with the Associate Director to achieve internal and client goals.
- Understand the value of programmatic campaigns.
- Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals through client relationships and professional networks.
- Execute and optimize LinkedIn advertising campaigns, including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI.
What You Offer
- 2+ years of experience at a performance or digital marketing agency, with hands-on B2B client experience.
- Deep expertise in paid social advertising, specifically LinkedIn Ads.
- Understanding of LinkedIn ad units, including conversation ads, document ads, and CTV.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Campaign Manager, ZoomInfo, 6sense, and similar tools.
- Understanding of keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization.
- Ability to analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, and other analytics platforms.
- Ability to drive and measure results via OCT.
- Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, and similar criteria.
- Proven measurable success with mid-market or enterprise accounts.
- Ability to articulate strategy and tell stories with data.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, prioritization, and project-management skills.
- Willingness to travel to clients approximately once per year per client or as needed.
