About the role

Directive Consulting is a B2B marketing agency specializing in performance, communications, and commerce for technology, industrial, and services companies. The Paid Strategist is a client-facing role responsible for client deliverables, custom strategies, stakeholder communication, account management, campaign execution, budget optimization, lead routing, and client growth.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead social media accounts.
  • Support client contacts and communicate with vendors and operational partners.
  • Build quarterly client strategies and manage paid media budgets.
  • Understand client positioning and value propositions.
  • Confirm accurate CRM lead routing.
  • Work with the Associate Director to achieve internal and client goals.
  • Understand programmatic campaigns.
  • Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals.
  • Execute and optimize LinkedIn advertising, including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting.

What You Offer:

  • 2+ years of experience at a performance or digital marketing agency supporting B2B clients.
  • Expertise in paid social advertising, especially LinkedIn Ads.
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn ad units, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, ZoomInfo, and 6sense.
  • Understanding of keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization.
  • Ability to analyze campaign data using Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms.
  • Experience with OCT, audience segmentation, mid-market or enterprise accounts, data storytelling, and managing multiple projects.
  • Willingness to travel to clients approximately once per year or as needed.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Manage approximately five mid-tier and enterprise accounts.
  • Meet department KPIs for client growth, goal attainment, client NSMs, and satisfaction.
  • Build trusted client relationships that create renewals.
  • Cross-sell aligned services and communicate results to clients and executives.
  • Make effective strategic decisions for accounts.

Work Environment Requirements:

This is a remote-first role that can operate 100% virtually from a home office anywhere in the US, with optional access to offices in Irvine, California.
