Directive Consulting is a B2B performance marketing agency focused on driving pipeline, SQLs, and growth for SaaS and B2B organizations through Paid Media, SEO, CRO, Revenue Operations, and Go-To-Market Strategy.
Internally this role is titled Associate Director, Revenue Operations.
About The Role:
Lead and scale Directive’s Revenue Operations practice as a senior, client-facing player-coach with strong people leadership and technical expertise across Salesforce, marketing automation, and HubSpot. Partner with the Director of Revenue Operations, lead RevOps Strategists, oversee complex client engagements, guide architecture, troubleshoot issues, conduct audits, support implementations, and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and mentor Revenue Operations Solution Engineers, including workload management, prioritization, coaching, and performance support.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex client and technical challenges.
- Own or oversee strategic client relationships, delivery quality, communication, and client satisfaction.
- Lead Salesforce, HubSpot, and marketing automation audits, implementations, integrations, and optimization projects.
- Provide hands-on expertise across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot, and HubSpot Marketing Hub.
- Design and advise on lifecycle architecture, lead management, routing, automation, CRM/MAP integrations, attribution, reporting, and data governance.
- Translate technical findings into recommendations for executive and non-technical stakeholders.
- Review strategist work for technical accuracy and strategic quality.
- Identify expansion and cross-sell opportunities, support scoping and solution design, and develop processes, documentation, playbooks, and technical standards.
- Maintain visibility into project health, capacity, utilization, and delivery risks.
What You’ll Bring:
Must Haves
- 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Marketing Operations, CRM consulting, marketing automation, or a related discipline.
- 1–2+ years of direct people management or formal team leadership experience.
- Active Salesforce Administrator Certification.
- Strong hands-on Salesforce Sales Cloud administration and implementation experience.
- Deep Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot experience, including certification or 2–3 years of hands-on implementation and administration.
- Strong hands-on HubSpot Marketing Hub experience, including automation, lifecycle management, data architecture, integrations, and reporting.
- Experience leading complex CRM and marketing automation implementations, audits, migrations, or optimization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of lead lifecycle management, lead routing, attribution, CRM/MAP integrations, automation, and data governance.
- Ability to lead senior-level client conversations, translate technical issues into business recommendations, manage expectations, and balance leadership with hands-on technical execution.
Preferred
- Agency, consulting, or professional services experience.
- Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot, additional Salesforce, and HubSpot certifications.
- Experience working across Salesforce and HubSpot environments for B2B organizations.
- Experience scoping projects, supporting sales conversations, identifying account expansion opportunities, and managing multiple concurrent client engagements.
