About the role

The Role:

The Group Product Manager manages a group of PMs, accountable for their performance, development, and delivery against product-line goals. They own hiring and onboarding for the group, set delivery standards, and are the bridge between squad-level execution and product-line strategy.

You will set the vision for DailyPay Card and own the strategy that makes it the centerpiece of how workers manage and access their pay. Leading a team of PMs, you'll drive adoption of both the Card and On-Demand Pay, shaping the paycheck routing experience from the ground up while building the product muscle on your team to execute with rigor and speed.

You'll partner with stakeholders across the org and the external partners that power our Card offering, bringing alignment where complexity lives. This is a player-coach role: you're as comfortable rolling up your sleeves on discovery and roadmap decisions as you are developing the PMs around you and representing the Card business in leadership forums.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Manage 1-2 PMs across multiple squads, accountable for their performance, development, and retention
  • Own hiring and onboarding for the PM group including defining roles and running hiring processes
  • Set product delivery and quality standards across the group, establishing clear expectations at each level
  • Translate product-line strategy into squad-level goals and ensure alignment across all PM teams
  • Partner with engineering directors and design managers to align resourcing and delivery across the group
  • Identify talent gaps and build development plans for PMs at multiple career stages
  • Drive a culture of data-driven decision making, user empathy, and continuous improvement across the group
  • Report product group health, risks, and progress to Product Leadership

What You Bring to DailyPay:

  • 9+ years of PM experience including 2+ years managing a group or team of PMs
  • Demonstrated track record of developing PM talent across multiple career stages
  • Strong organizational leadership skills with ability to set standards across a multi-squad PM team
  • Experience driving alignment between product strategy and team-level execution at scale
  • Executive communication skills with ability to influence VP-level stakeholders
  • Deep knowledge in the card space, fintech, or payments

What We Offer:

  • Exceptional health, vision, and dental care
  • Opportunity for equity ownership
  • Life and AD&D, short- and long-term disability
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Employee Resource Groups
  • Fun company outings and events
