About You

We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized Entry-Level Financial Analyst to join our fast-paced finance team. In this role, you will be the backbone of finance team, taking ownership of essential record maintenance, high-volume data scrubbing, and detailed reconciliations. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to build a strong foundational skill set in corporate finance and accounting while supporting complex month-end close processes and strategic financial analysis

Responsibilities

  • Data Maintenance & Record Keeping: Maintain, scrub, and organize large sets of financial records, ensuring absolute data integrity across ledgers and reporting systems.
  • Reconciliations & Variance Investigation: Assist with and perform detailed daily and monthly reconciliations (e.g., bank, revenue, COGS), including the rigorous investigation of variances and discrepancies.
  • General Accounting Support: Provide comprehensive general accounting support, including preparing journal entries and organizing month-end close documentation.
  • Analysis & Modeling: Assist with financial modeling, statistical analysis, and provide support with the budget and forecasting process.
  • Reporting: Present data-driven recommendations to the finance team based on variance analysis and special project findings.
  • Process Improvement: Support senior analysts in streamlining financial reporting workflows (bonus points for familiarity with tools like Python or Google Apps Script to assist in automating routine reconciliation tasks).

Requirements

  • Recent graduate or in the process of completing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.6.
  • Completion of mid-level finance and accounting courses.
  • Proficient with excel, word, and powerpoint, with a strong emphasis on data manipulation.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving and analytical skills—must be comfortable diving deep into the data to find and fix discrepancies.
  • Strong organization, time management and ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Team player, strong interpersonal skills, and self-motivated to learn, take on operational tasks with a positive attitude, and tackle new challenges.
