Managing Director - Accounting Advisory

The Managing Director of Accounting Advisory assists with oversight of a service line and engagement team, providing project management, client service, and coaching.

Core Responsibilities:

• Support growth of the Advisory practice through strategic and tactical planning.
• Demonstrate thought leadership and support marketing and sales programs.
• Build national relationships and develop business and revenue.
• Lead multiple concurrent accounting advisory engagements.
• Provide technical accounting and financial or business advisory guidance.
• Support complex accounting initiatives, client deliverables, and engagement-team development.

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Adaptability to changing priorities.
• Technical and project management skills.
• Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to represent the firm, grow the client base, and increase brand recognition.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
• Active CPA.
• 12+ years of relevant accounting experience; public accounting or professional services experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift items up to 30 pounds.

The compensation range is $235,000-$295,000 annually. Additional components such as performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits may be offered as part of the total compensation package.
