What You Will Do:
- Provide direct patient care through on-site and virtual supervision while administering infusions and injections.
- Conduct patient assessments, perform evaluations, document SOAP notes, and monitor treatment responses.
- Educate and support patients and families regarding treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management.
- Maintain accurate records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, review nursing documentation, and uphold HIPAA and OSHA standards.
- Assist with chart preparation and treatment planning to streamline patient visits.
- Collaborate with referring providers and cross-functional teams to enhance care coordination.
- Assist with inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence.
- Work at multiple facilities within a designated market as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and organizational objectives.
What We're Looking For:
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and Registered Nurse (RN) license, if required by the state.
- AANP or ANCC board certification.
- BLS certification; PALS certification preferred.
- Clinical experience in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting is a plus.
- Ability to care for both adults and pediatric patients; Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred.
- Strong IV and infusion therapy skills, including specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation, EHR systems, HIPAA, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
