About Atomic

We are a fast-growing, mission-driven company powering the expansion of financial services and wealth creation globally. We build critical financial infrastructure that allows consumer-facing companies to offer engaging investing experiences to their customers in a frictionless way. We host advanced investing capabilities ranging from ESG investing to multi-currency trading across 60 global markets. We are a team of financial empowerment enthusiasts who have come together from various industries including tech, banking, finance, and law.

The company has raised $55M in funding and is positioned to rapidly scale. Come join an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact!

Once here, you will

  • Serve as an associate within Brokerage Operations, providing registered supervision over inter-dealer market making activity in corporate securities and margin lending and financing.
  • Be a key control point for the business: Reviewing and approving trading and margin activity, maintaining supervisory procedures, and acting as the escalation point for issues surfaced by the trading, onboarding, and operations teams.
  • Help shape the supervisory framework that keeps the firm compliant as Atomic scales its broker-dealer capabilities and new products and activities come online.

What we are looking for

We're looking for a hands-on principal who can own day-to-day supervisory responsibility for market making and underwriting activity, not just sign off on it. Requirements: :

  • Active Series 57 and Series 24
  • Three to five years of direct experience in overseeing trading and/or margin
  • Demonstrated experience supervising inter-dealer market making activity in corporate securities
  • Deep subject matter expertise in Reg T and FINRA Rule 4210, portfolio margin
  • Oversee daily trading operations, monitor real-time profit and loss (PnL), and manage risk limits across proprietary or agency trading desks.
  • Issuing and verifying margin calls, handling day-trading account rules, setting house collateral haircuts, and resolving branch/client escalations.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, high-growth environment with evolving processes

Candidates who don't meet all of the above must have direct experience in at least one of: inter-dealer market making in corporate securities or margin financing.

Ideal candidates will also have:

  • Prior experience in onboarding, securities lending, or other brokerage operational activities preferred
  • Underwriting, corporate actions experience is a bonus
