This role is pivotal in helping developers adopt Claude-powered products, growing the developer ecosystem, gathering feedback to inform product development, and ensuring products are used responsibly, safely, and securely.

You'll be a hands-on technical voice for Anthropic's developer community, including partners, customers, and independent developers. • Partner with GTM, Sales, and Marketing to support developer-focused campaigns.
  • Lead and participate in developer events, workshops, and community activities.

Drive Alignment Through Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Advocate for developer needs by translating feedback into product and content initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Research to translate AI capabilities into accessible educational resources.
  • Partner with Communications and Marketing to amplify developer success stories.
  • Promote responsible AI use among developers building with Claude.

About You:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in developer relations, developer experience, or technical product or engineering roles, with a track record of shipping content or tools that measurably grew a developer ecosystem.
  • You are technically credible and can understand AI/ML and API concepts and translate complex technical ideas for different audiences.
  • You can write production-quality code demos, review developer samples, and provide actionable technical feedback.
  • You understand developer psychology and behavior and can design content that drives meaningful adoption.
  • You are passionate about AI's potential and committed to responsible development, AI safety, and ethical considerations.
  • You are collaborative and can influence across teams without direct authority.
  • You have thrived in high-growth environments and can adapt as priorities evolve.

Nice to Have:

  • Background in AI safety, ethics, or responsible AI development.
  • Public speaking experience at industry conferences and events.
  • Content creation experience, including technical writing and video tutorials.

Logistics:

  • Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.
