ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Operations and Deployments Associate to build, lead, and implement our logistics function at our hyperscale manufacturing facility in Ashville, Ohio. This is a high-impact role responsible for end-to-end logistics strategy, execution, and carrier management in support of Arsenal-1's ramp to full-rate production. You will act as the on-site owner of Air Dominance & Strike logistics and transportation functions, ensuring our inbound and outbound logistics network is agile, resilient, and cost-effective in support of mission-critical programs. This role requires a leader who can operate at both strategic and operational levels—designing scalable logistics solutions while also driving day-to-day execution with precision. At Anduril Industries, logistics is a critical enabler of mission success.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Air Dominance and Strike Site Logistics Leadership
- In close partnership with the overall Site Logistics Team, own and lead all logistics operations related to Air Dominance and Strike products in and out of Arsenal-1 (Ashville, OH)
- Serve as the primary Business Line point of contact for site transportation and logistics strategy
- Partner with global logistics leadership to align Business Line execution with enterprise strategy and objectives
- Coordinate with AD&S manufacturing, supply chain, receiving, and warehouse teams to ensure material flow supports production, test, and sustainment operations
- Carrier Strategy & Requirements
- Define program-specific transportation requirements and partner with Site Logistics to execute carrier strategy across required modes (LTL, FTL, expedited, flatbed, air, ocean, parcel)
- Provide Business Line input to 3PL, freight forwarder, and last-mile provider selection on lanes critical to Autonomous Airpower production and sustainment, driving service-level performance, cost optimization, and capacity planning to support high-volume throughput
- Logistics Strategy & Network Design
- Design and optimize inbound, intra-company, and outbound distribution flows, routing strategies, and transportation service offerings in coordination with the Site Logistics function
- Partner with internal trade compliance teams and external brokers to ensure import/export compliance for internationally sourced components and finished goods
- Intermodal & Intrasite Transportation, own intermodal solutions for movement from production line to customer site and manage intrasite transportation across the Arsenal-1 complex between production, integration, storage, and flight-line areas
- Procurement & Commercial Ownership
- Lead site logistics sourcing and procurement efforts in collaboration with the enterprise logistics strategy and team
- Run RFPs, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor performance
- Own site logistics spend and deliver against cost targets
- Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and track KPIs (cost, service, transit time, reliability, dock-to-stock, on-time shipment) and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the logistics network
- Implement tools and reporting (TMS, visibility platforms) to increase visibility, control, and standard work
- Inventory Control Point & Sustainment Operations
- Coordinate with the inventory management organization to establish and maintain processes and systems to enable 24/7 coverage model for urgent parts-issue capability through staffing, on-call rotation, and escalation procedures
- Establish robust, urgent shipping lanes and modes to resolve AOG/MICAP events
- Own the reverse logistics process for components, sub-assemblies, and aircraft returning from customer sites back to Arsenal-1, including induction, triage, routing to the appropriate repair node, and reissue into serviceable inventory
