- Hardware Procurement: Specify, procure, validate, and sustain core vision components including cameras, lenses, lighting, controllers, and software
- Deployment & Commissioning: Oversee the installation, validation, and commissioning of vision systems across multiple production lines
- Project Leadership: Lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to integrate high-precision inspection systems
- Root Cause Analysis: Drive Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations for vision system errors and process failures
- Training & Support: Mentor junior engineers and train production staff in daily operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of vision equipment to elevate team technical capabilities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Robotics, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on industry experience building, deploying, and maintaining machine vision systems in a manufacturing environment.

- Automation Integration: Direct experience interfacing vision systems with industrial controls like PLCs and robotics.
- Inspection Methods: Mastery of classical rules-based tools, advanced defect detection, AI-based vision, and SPC methodologies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Smart Manufacturing: Experience with Industry 4.0 standards, factory automation software, and IIoT protocols such as IO-Link, MQTT or OPC UA.
- Software Practices: Familiarity with modern development workflows, including Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- 3D Vision: Experience with 3D imaging techniques like structured light, time-of-flight (ToF), or stereo vision for robotic guidance and inspection.
- Security Clearance: Possession of an active Secret or Top-Secret security clearance.
