Activities:
- Perform electric powertrain calibration and validation activities at vehicle and component levels.
- Own and deliver calibration for specific features (e.g., eLocker) with on-time, high-quality releases.
- Increase calibration maturity and readiness through program milestones up to SOP in accordance with Client processes.
- Supervise and ensure correct implementation of CAN/LIN communication at the vehicle level.
- Flash control units and maintain test vehicles with the latest software releases.
- Contribute with the validation engineer at the numerical and physical validation plan creation
- Analyze test results versus design requirements and propose calibration or control improvements.
- Debug embedded EVCU SW models and support issue resolution.
- Propose corrections and improvements to Simulink models and control strategies.
- Ensure smooth data/command exchange between xCUs impacting the powertrain and proper HMI behavior (physical/visual).
- Monitor and support implementation of PWT benches aligned with project needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with controls teams, suppliers, and chief engineers; lead/organize technical meetings.
- Track and resolve issues with suppliers and internal partners within area of expertise.
- Draft test reports and provide feedback at the end of each development phase.
