About the role
The Opportunity:
We’re hiring Registered Dietitians who want to focus on delivering exceptional care to women who have historically been underserved.
Your Impact:
- Analyze intake assessments, including medical history, dietary habits, laboratory results, and more.
- Conduct diet and lifestyle counseling and education sessions via video, including offering general movement, sleep, or stress management advice as needed and related to nutrition care.
- Employ Allara’s provided nutrition training and educational materials to ensure consistent care while adapting to patient needs.
- Incorporate motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques throughout the continuity of care.
- Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of your patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Dedicate a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week in addition to administrative time.
- Complete charting, address patient inquiries, and respond to administrative tasks and messages in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian with current certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- 1 year of experience treating patients with complex women’s health conditions is strongly desired.
- Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, with an emphasis on compassion and clarity.
- Natural ability to build trust and connection with patients in a virtual setting.
- Genuine commitment to delivering care rooted in current clinical research.
- Comfortable working across multiple platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
- Prior telehealth experience is a plus.
- Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state.
A Note on State Licensing:
All active and pending licenses held at the time of application are collected and reviewed during the hiring process. Hiring decisions reflect current state-level needs, which evolve over time.
Schedule Requirements:
- A minimum of 80% of weekly contracted hours must fall within the following windows:
- Evenings, any day: 5:00 PM–9:00 PM.
- Fridays: 8:00 AM–9:00 PM.
- Saturdays and Sundays: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM.
All hours are scheduled in the time zone of your active state license(s).
